Let’s Talk About Streets

The City of Madison wants to know what you think about the streets you use to work, live and play in the City of Madison. Please visit the City of Madison’s Let’s Talk Streets website and take the Community Survey.

Remember, Large Item Collection has Changed

Before you set your items out to the curb for the Streets Division to collect them, you need to submit a work order to schedule the pickup. The website to book your large item collection appointment is www.cityofmadison.com/LargeItemWorkOrder.

Student Move Out

The first two weeks of August always brings out a big mess to the curb as thousands of downtown leases all end around August 15.  Each year, around 1 million pounds of junk gets set out to the curb for Streets Division crews to collect, so it’s important to follow the rules so collection can be fast and safe.
